Ad sales dates are managed inside Sales > Sales Setup > Sales Plan Settings. Here’s how to work with the controls:
- Scroll to the bottom of Sales Plan Settings to find the Ad Sales Controls section.
- Set a start date and end date for your ad sales — eDesign will automatically close ad sales when the end date arrives.
- A visual cue above the date fields tells you the current state: ads are live, ads are closed, or dates are current but no ads are active for sale.
- To immediately remove ads from sale: Backdate the end date, or go to the Ads tab on the left and uncheck the YOC box for any ad size.
- Remove sold-out sizes: If you’ve filled all your quarter-page spaces, for example, uncheck that size in the Ads tab to remove it from the order center.
- Auto-close by page count: Enter a number of pages — when your ad sales reach that page count, eDesign will automatically shut down ad sales, even if the end date hasn’t arrived. This prevents overselling.
