Clearing Browser Cache

If eDesign is displaying stale content, loading slowly, or behaving unexpectedly, clearing your browser cache is a quick first step. Chrome stores temporary files to speed up browsing, but these files can sometimes cause problems after updates.

Clear Cache in Chrome on a Mac

  1. Open Chrome on your Mac.
  2. In the menu bar, click ChromeClear Browsing Data…
Or use the keyboard shortcut: ⌘ Command + Shift + Delete
  3. In the dialog that appears, set the Time range to All time.
  4. Make sure Cached images and files is checked. You may also check Cookies and other site data if you are still having trouble after clearing the cache alone.
  5. Click Clear data.
  6. Reload eDesign (⌘ Command + R) and log back in if prompted.

Or use the keyboard shortcut: Ctrl + Shift + Delete
  3. In the dialog that appears, set the Time range to All time.
  4. Make sure Cached images and files is checked. You may also check Cookies and other site data if you are still having trouble after clearing the cache alone.
  5. Click Clear data.
  6. Reload eDesign (Ctrl + R) and log back in if prompted.

Still Having Trouble?

If clearing the cache does not resolve the issue, try opening eDesign in a private/incognito window (⌘ Command + Shift + N on Mac, Ctrl + Shift + N on Windows). If it works there but not in your regular window, a browser extension may be interfering. You can also try a different browser.
