Adobe Express provides a large library of graphics, icons, and shapes you can use to build custom art for your yearbook. Here’s how to find and use them:
- Access from the Art Library: Go to the Art library in eDesign, open the Import/Export menu, and choose Create in Adobe Express. Select any blank canvas size to launch Adobe Express.
- Hover over Add Content in the upper left and select Elements.
- Best elements for full customization: Use Shapes and Icons — these are vector-based and allow complete color control.
- Click an icon to place it, then use the Fill controls on the left to change its color. Click Custom to enter a hex code for a specific brand color.
- Design Assets and Backgrounds are image-based (less color flexibility), but you can still adjust them using Filters and Tones under Effects.
- Searching: Use the search bar in the Elements panel to find specific graphics (e.g., search “wave” or “star”). Adobe remembers your most recent color selection.
- Before publishing: Click away from your asset into the gray area and set the background to No Fill (transparent). Then click Publish — the graphic appears in your eDesign art library ready to place on pages.
