Using Spread History

Transcript

Spread History allows you to revert a spread to a previously saved version. To access it, open a spread in Page Design, go to the File menu, and choose Show Spread History. The panel lists all previously saved versions with the day and time of each save, the person who saved it, and an indication of which pages were edited. Click any version in the list to view the spread as it looked at that save.

Once you’re viewing a previous version, you have two choices: if you want to use it, go to File and choose Save as Current Version to make it the new current version. If you don’t want it, go to File and choose Back to Most Recent to return to the latest version, or select a different history state from the list. Spread History keeps a record of every saved version, giving you the peace of mind that no work in eDesign is ever truly lost.
