Candids is a section of the library into which you’ll upload nearly all your images. You can upload in three ways. The first is the drag and drop method — locate images on your local computer, shift-click to select a consecutive group or control/command-click to select nonconsecutive images, then drag them onto the Candids area. You’ll see a progress bar for each image as it uploads. The second way is to use the import/export menu in the top right corner and choose My Device to browse your computer. The third option is Import from Google Drive.
You should always tag images when you upload them. When the upload completes, click Tag Now — eDesign hides all other images and opens the tags panel so you can easily tag by topics, keywords, or people. It’s very important to tag images immediately so they’re easy to find later. If an image has the same name as one already in eDesign, a Duplicate Image Check window will appear — compare the two images and choose whether to upload or skip. You can also upload graphics into the Art library and images for ads into the Ads library.
