Searching and Filtering Images

Transcript

We’ve added some advanced filtering options for candids and art in Page Design. When you open the Candids or Art section of the library, you’ll see a quick filter for topics here, and a quick filter to show only unused images here. These are the common things you do on a daily basis: show all the images tagged with a particular topic, then only show the ones that are unused.

If you want to do some advanced filtering, click the button to open the Advanced Filter panel. In the first section, you have your show-only options, such as show only images from eShare, or show only images edited with Canva. You can also filter by the date an item was imported.

You can filter by the user who imported the item. You can add filters for topics, keywords, and name tags. So if you wanted to find all photos tagged with a certain person’s name, you could check that box, and it would be added to the filter. As you add filter parameters, you’ll see pills indicating the filters applied.

You can remove filters by clicking the X on one individual item, or Clear All to remove them all. When you’ve selected the filters you want, click Apply All. The Library panel then updates with the filtered items. The indicator shows you are viewing a filtered set and the number of filters applied.

You can click the X to clear all filters, or click the panel icon to see or edit the applied filters. Advanced filters are available for candids and art, and more options are coming soon to other library sections.
