Replace Elements in Templates

If you apply a template when you already have content on the pages, you’ll receive a message asking what you’d like to do. You can replace the current contents of the spread, or add the template to what’s already there. If you choose Replace, anything currently on the spread will be removed and replaced with the template layout.

This makes it really easy to drop in different templates to try them out and then quickly replace them with another one until you find the design that works best for your spread.
