Preview Panel in Page Design

Transcript

When you hover over a thumbnail in the library panel, you’ll see an enlarged icon. Clicking it opens that image in the Preview Panel, which you can position anywhere on screen. A filmstrip below the large preview shows all images currently visible in the open library panel — scroll through them using the arrows or click a thumbnail to open it. Arrow keys on your keyboard also let you scroll through images. Below the large preview are buttons for favoriting, editing, downloading, rotating, tagging, and deleting; available options vary based on the asset type and whether the image is currently in use (you can’t delete or rotate images that are in use).

Clicking the tag icon opens an expanded panel with all tagging options, so you can tag by names and topics right within the same panel while viewing the large preview — and as you move to the next image, you can continue applying tags. At the bottom of the panel you’ll see image info including topics, keywords, name tags, file name, dimensions, pages it’s used on, file size, and upload date. You can also drag and drop images — or templates and mods — directly from the Preview Panel onto the page. If you apply a different filter in the library panel, the Preview Panel will close.
