Let’s take a look at how we can use Adobe Express inside of eDesign to find and create cool graphics for the pages of our yearbooks. Head to your art library inside of eDesign, and if you go to the import menu you’ll find the option to create an Adobe Express design.
To find Adobe’s libraries of graphics, hover on the Add Content area in the upper left and select Elements. Design assets and backgrounds are actual images, which makes them raster. Elements, on the other hand, are vector graphics — meaning they scale without losing quality and you can change their color.
You can completely change the color of any element. For instance, if you choose a flower graphic, make it bigger on the canvas, then look to the left panel — that’s where you’ll see fill color controls. There you can control the very specific color the graphic will publish in.
Always deselect a graphic by clicking on the gray area outside the canvas to confirm your selection before applying further edits. When your graphic is ready, click Publish and it will save directly to your eDesign art library, ready to place on any spread.
