Workspace Layout
- Toolbar (left): Shows by default — collapse with the pin icon. Click a tool icon to select it. Hover over one to see the keyboard shortcut tooltip. Example: The text tool shortcut: T key. Selection tool shortcut: Escape key.
- Menus (top): Options include File, Edit, Layout, and more. Access essential commands under these menus. Example: Undo, Redo, Cut, Copy, Paste, etc. under the edit menu.
- Control panel (below menus): The options change based on the active tool. Example: Text formatting options appear when the text tool is selected.
- Return to Book View (upper right): Closes Page Design and returns you to the Ladder.
- Library panel (right): Click any icon to open that section of the library. Click the double-arrow icon to collapse the panel.
- Design area (center): The main workspace. See the Understanding the Design Area tutorial for details.
