Text Wrap Basics

With text wrap, you can cause text to flow around other objects on your page.

• Select the object that you want the text to wrap around.
• In the control panel, click the icon for text wrap controls.
• Here, you have control over the amount of padding that’s on each side of the object.
• By default, all the adjustments are linked, so as you increase padding on one side, all sides increase.
• When you want to adjust each side individually, click the chain to unlink those values.
• If you want to wrap your text around the actual shape or path of an object (e.g., an image cutout), click Wrap Around Edges. Then, adjust the padding as desired.
