Exporting Settings to Next Year

Advisers can export settings to transfer key elements from one year’s book to the next year’s book or to a supplement.

• Log into the book that has the settings you want (usually the previous year’s book or the current/main book if you are exporting to a supplement).
• Go to Settings > Export Settings, select the destination book or supplement you want to receive the settings. Click Next.
• Choose what to transfer in the Options area: Staff, Page Assignments, Topics, Page Topics, Fonts, Colors, and Character Styles (available only when both Fonts and Colors are selected).
  • Transferring Staff activates the same staff members for the new book. Page Assignments assigns each person to the same page numbers as before.
  • Transferring Topics activates the same topics in the new book. Page Topics applies the same topics to the same page numbers as before. Use this function if your ladder is consistent year to year, or if you prefer editing your ladder, rather than starting from a blank slate.
