Cropping lets you reposition and resize an image within its frame.
- Enter crop mode by double-clicking the image, clicking the Crop button in the control panel, or right-clicking an image > Crop Image.
- In crop mode: Corner handles on the image itself let you resize the image inside the frame. The cyan border shows the frame boundary. Yellow handles let you resize the frame itself.
- Drag to reposition the image inside the frame. Dimmed areas show what is outside the frame.
- Rule of thirds lines appear inside the frame as a composition guide.
- Nudge: Use keyboard arrow keys to nudge the image. Hold Shift for larger increments. Use the control panel arrows to nudge as well.
- Rotate inside frame: Click the Rotate button to rotate 90° inside the frame, or use the rotation handle for smaller increments.
- Scale to fit: Click the scale-to-fit button to resize the image back to fill the frame.
- Exit crop mode by clicking off of the image, clicking the X in the crop control panel, or clicking the Crop button again.
